Shannon of S. B. Moore & Co. commissioned us to get creative with an all-white palette for the open house at The Bowery House and Gardens in Katy, Texas. (This venue has endless options for suspended installations inside and out–if that’s your thing, this is the venue for you.)
We took advantage of the hanging opportunities by suspending a lush, peony- and garden rose-filled installation in the ceremony space. There’s this gorgeous swooping tree branch framing the outdoor ceremony deck and we wanted our installation to highlight it.
Inside on our vendor table, we filled one of our larger gold urns with tons of garden roses, peonies, and ranunculus to give it a fun shape.
We crafted two styles of centerpieces for the four tables we were assigned. Two of these designs were marble compotes designed in a fine art style with all the premium blooms our hearts could stand. Sometimes more is more, okay?? These are the epitome of your classic, timeless compote design with a fun, modern edge.
The remaining tables designs featured a unique take on a tall centerpiece. We used lightweight gold geometric open-air stands and added asymmetrical pops of floral. Centerpieces like these create dimension in a room without preventing your guests from interacting across a table. Marble pillar candles with gold accents sat inside the frame, adding a little ambiance.
All of the designs for this open house featured bleached dried ruscus, which is one of our faves when you want to add a little interest to your already high-end looking designs.
